Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund 2021

In a series of virtual events, TheBusinessDesk.com in partnership with the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF) looked at the opportunities for Northern businesses in the wake of the pandemic as well as the challenges they are facing with regards to funding innovation and growth. The sessions which all included business leaders alongside representatives from NPIF also shared advice for businesses looking for funding. The £500m Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund was established in 2017 with the ambition to transform the funding landscape across the North of England and help to create economic prosperity on par with London and the South East. To date, NPIF has directly invested more than £237m, in deals that have attracted over £279m of additional investment from the private sector.
