{"id":2137576,"date":"2025-04-11T15:09:37","date_gmt":"2025-04-11T14:09:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/yorkshire\/?p=2137576"},"modified":"2025-04-11T15:09:37","modified_gmt":"2025-04-11T14:09:37","slug":"mobile-welfare-equipment-provider-invests-in-new-yorkshire-warehouse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/yorkshire\/news\/2137576-mobile-welfare-equipment-provider-invests-in-new-yorkshire-warehouse","title":{"rendered":"Mobile welfare equipment provider invests in new Yorkshire warehouse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Welfare Hire Nationwide has signed a deal to take more than 55,000 sq ft of industrial space at Moor Lane Trading Estate in Sherburn in Elmet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Part of Kelling Group, Welfare Hire, which is a rental and lease provider of specialist mobile welfare equipment to infrastructure markets including Highways, Rail and Utilities, is investing around \u00a3250,000 in the site and creating new jobs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The deal sees the firm double the size of its operational bases across Yorkshire.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Matthew Jowett, chief financial officer at Kelling Group, said:\u00a0\u201cAs our business continues to grow, it was essential to secure a facility that meets our operational demands and allows for future scalability. The Moor Lane Trading Estate site provides the perfect combination of space and accessibility to support our expanding hire services business.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cEstablishing Welfare Hire\u2019s regional footprint in this dedicated facility also facilitates further growth capacity for its sister company, Access Hire Nationwide. Separating out the two core businesses from our headquarters in Normanton represents a major milestone for the group.\u00a0 The Access business will remain there, while this new site is ideal for the welfare division.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The site at Moor Lane Trading Estate follows opening of a new purpose-built depot in Bristol and a regional depot in Scotland.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The site was brought to the market by the agency division\u00a0of property consultancy, GV&amp;Co,<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jonathan Jacob,\u00a0associate director of agency at GV&amp;Co, said: \u2018Moor Lane Trading Estate offers strong credentials to occupiers requiring well connected and cost-effective manufacturing and storage space, and we\u2019re
