Industrial technology company, Tan Delta Systems, has significantly increased its sales pipeline which could be \u2018transformational\u2019 for the company.<\/p>\n
The Sheffield-based company, which is a provider of intelligent monitoring and maintenance systems for commercial and industrial equipment, said it is working in partnership with four of the world’s leading engine manufacturers, and has 20 active trials underway.<\/p>\n
In the 12 months to 31 December 2024, the company said its pipeline had increased to \u00a335m from \u00a32.5m the previous year. Revenue of \u00a31.22m was down 16%, while loss before tax came in at \u00a31.17m.<\/p>\n
The company has also announced the appointment of John Higginbottom \u00a0as CFO\/COO.<\/p>\n
Simon tucker, chairman of Tan Delta Systems, said: \u201cThe company has developed a focused pipeline of sales opportunities where and is now supporting multiple evaluations that range from the world’s largest online retailer who operates hundreds of thousands of gearboxes, to operators of power generators across the middle east.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe opportunity is very significant. By their nature the decision and planning to adopt Tan Delta and integrate it into their maintenance and operating plans are significant and long-term commitments which require careful planning which takes time to come to fruition and a conversion into sale contracts that realise a customer with repeat sales for many years into the future.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is the reason for the build-up of the sales pipeline and the relatively slow conversion.
