{"id":2139544,"date":"2025-06-02T08:25:35","date_gmt":"2025-06-02T07:25:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/yorkshire\/?p=2139544"},"modified":"2025-06-02T10:05:40","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T09:05:40","slug":"endless-acquires-battery-firm-from-us-parent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/yorkshire\/news\/2139544-endless-acquires-battery-firm-from-us-parent","title":{"rendered":"Endless acquires battery firm from US parent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Leeds-based private equity firm Endless has acquired a specialist battery supplier from US parent, Ecobat Group.<\/p>\n<p>Ecobat Battery, which has a \u00a3200m turnover, is a leading supplier of batteries and energy storage solutions across many sectors including automotive, commercial vehicles, marine and leisure, motorcycles, and industrial uses.<\/p>\n<p>The company has a strong presence across Europe and a network of distribution hubs in the UK, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Belgium and Spain,<\/p>\n<p>The acquisition by Endless will provide Ecobat Battery with the capital to accelerate its growth plans, expand its market reach, and invest in its capabilities to further strengthen its commercial platform.<\/p>\n<p>The carve-out transaction was led by Ecobat Battery\u2019s existing management team including \u00a0managing director Russell McBurnie and Alex Powell.<\/p>\n<p>McBurnie said: \u00a0\u201cThis is an exciting new chapter for our business.
