Renew Holdings has delivered another year of record results as it sharpened its focus on the UK\u2019s critical infrastructure sectors.<\/p>\n
The Leeds-based group engineering services group reporting revenues of \u00a31.12bn for the year to 30 September 2025 – a 5.6% uplift on the previous year.<\/p>\n
Adjusted operating profit edged up to \u00a372.1m, while the order book reached an all-time high of \u00a3915m, underscoring the resilience and visibility of the group\u2019s long-term framework positions. Pre tax profit rose 5.8% to \u00a356.7m.<\/p>\n
Renew Holdings, which supports the maintenance and renewal of key national assets across rail, water, energy, and highways, pointed to a year marked by both strong trading and significant strategic evolution. Following the disposal of its non-core Walter Lilly business, Renew has emerged as an engineering services provider – a move that CEO Paul Scott said has \u201cstrengthened the foundations of the business like never before.\u201d<\/p>\n
Momentum was evident across all core markets. The group navigated a challenging start in rail to finish the year with enhanced geographic reach and framework wins, while water operations entered the AMP8 cycle in their strongest position yet, boasting framework arrangements with 10 of the UK\u2019s 12 major water companies.<\/p>\n
Renew\u2019s push into transmission and distribution has also exceeded expectations, buoyed by the acquisition of Emerald Power in October, expanding its capabilities into the high-growth overhead lines sector.<\/p>\n
Renew capped the year with a successful refinancing of its revolving credit facility, securing a \u00a3140m package on improved terms – a move that Scott said reflects \u201ccontinued confidence in our resilient business model and long-term growth prospects.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cI am very pleased with the performance delivered across the group during FY25. Despite well-documented headwinds in specific areas, our teams have worked tirelessly to deliver another year of record revenues and operating profit alongside the successful execution of several of our key strategic priorities. As a result, the foundations of this business have never been stronger.<\/p>\n
