Cirata has capped a record-breaking year with a surge in Data Integration bookings and a sharp reduction in costs, putting the AIM-listed software group on track to reach cash flow positivity in the first quarter of FY26.<\/p>\n
The Sheffield-headquartered business told the market that Data Integration (DI) bookings for the year to 31 December 2025 reached $13.2m, up 181% year-on-year and the strongest full-year performance since 2017. Momentum accelerated sharply in the final quarter, with Q4 DI bookings of $9.8m \u2013 the highest quarterly total in the company\u2019s history.<\/p>\n
The standout deals included a $6.7m, three-year OEM contract signed through IBM, the largest OEM agreement Cirata has ever secured, alongside a $3.1m, three-year direct contract with a leading US insurer. Both contracts relate to the deployment of its live data migrator technology and underline what the company describes as growing confidence in its product roadmap.<\/p>\n
Total contract bookings for FY25, including discontinued operations, rose 96% to $13.9m. All six DI contracts signed in the fourth quarter were growth contracts, highlighting the importance of expansion within Cirata\u2019s existing customer base.<\/p>\n
Chief executive Stephen Kelly described FY25 as a \u201cfoundational year\u201d, following the divestment of the group\u2019s DevOps assets and the launch of Cirata Symphony, its new data orchestration platform. He said the reshaped business now has \u201cproduct focus and an expanding addressable market\u201d, with early customer interest in Symphony translating into encouraging lead generation.<\/p>\n
The company has also continued to tighten its cost base. Annualised cash overheads have been reduced to $12m – $13m exiting Q4, down from a peak of $41.5m in FY21. Cash burn in the quarter fell 59% year-on-year to $1.3m.<\/p>\n
At the end of December, Cirata held $4.0m in cash and $3.4m in short-term receivables. Management now expects the group to turn cash flow positive in Q1 FY26 as its new sales strategy matures and recent contract wins begin to translate into revenues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
