Transport technology provider Tracsis has landed a new multi-year contract to deploy its train dispatch software with a shortline freight railroad in North America, marking a strategic milestone in the company\u2019s international expansion.<\/p>\n
Building on the success of its first US commuter rail deployment in September 2024, the deal validates the competitiveness of Tracsis\u2019 Train Dispatch offering in a market with growing demand for new technology providers. Full deployment is expected during FY27, after which recurring support and maintenance licence revenue will begin.<\/p>\n
The North America win underpins the company\u2019s expectation that full-year revenue and adjusted EBITDA will come in line with market expectations. For the six months ended 31 January 2026, Tracsis expects revenue of around \u00a339m, up from \u00a336.3m in the same period last year, while adjusted EBITDA is projected at \u00a35m, compared with \u00a33.8m in the prior year.<\/p>\n
Both divisions of the business delivered revenue and margin growth during the period, driven by recurring software licences and consumer-driven transactional revenues. Tracsis also maintained a robust balance sheet, with net cash of \u00a325.8m at the period end.<\/p>\n
H2 revenue is expected to follow historical patterns, supported by the company\u2019s large installed base, confirmed orderbook, and pipeline conversion consistent with FY25 levels. With new contracts in the US and a strong balance sheet, Tracsis is positioning itself for scalable, long-term growth.<\/p>\n
