A Yorkshire-manufacturer has seen its profits rocket by more than 200% after reporting a year of accelerated growth, strategic disposals and site consolidation.<\/p>\n
Mansfield Pollard, which designs, manufactures, and installs air management solutions for various industries including hospitals, hospitality, and data centres, saw pre-tax profits soar to \u00a35.5m in the year to 31 July 2025, compared to \u00a31.7m last year.<\/p>\n
The Bradford-based firm, which has set an ambitious target to reach \u00a375m in revenue by 2030, reported turnover of \u00a327.9m for the financial year, up 17% on the previous period. The increase reflects strong underlying performance alongside the impact of key strategic decisions made over the past two years.<\/p>\n
Among the most notable developments was the disposal of its legacy Cantech brand, generating additional income and allowing the firm to focus on its core operations. This was complemented by continued expansion in high-growth sectors, particularly data centres, alongside a strengthened sales pipeline driven by larger projects and new client wins.<\/p>\n
A major contributor to improved margins was the consolidation of operations onto a single site, a move completed in the prior year. The transition has delivered significant efficiency gains and increased capacity, helping to offset rising operational costs, including higher rent, rates and wage inflation following a 6.7% uplift in the UK living wage.<\/p>\n
Gross margins improved by 12 percentage points, underlining the benefits of tighter cost control, enhanced purchasing strategies and operational efficiencies.<\/p>\n
Mansfield Pollard also highlighted continued progress on its ESG agenda, with a focus on becoming carbon negative in partnership with Carbon Footprint. Initiatives such as supplier engagement programmes and the integration of carbon metrics into product development signal a longer-term shift towards sustainable growth.<\/p>\n
Looking ahead, the firm is investing in research and development while advancing expansion plans in the Middle East and India.<\/p>\n
With core sectors expected to see continued growth over the coming years, the business says innovation and international market entry will be key to sustaining momentum.<\/p>\n
