The group said growing ARR to cover its cost base will be a key priority in 2026.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1093\" data-end=\"1216\">Cash generation also improved, with year-end cash of \u00a30.2m rising to \u00a30.8m by the end of Q1 2026 following strong receipts.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1218\" data-end=\"1540\">Operationally, Getech strengthened its sales team and reinforced long-term customer relationships, including multi-year renewals of its Globe platform contracts, which saw a 28% uplift in value. Its software offering also performed well, with its unconventionals analyst product driving a 15% increase in customer numbers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1542\" data-end=\"1747\">The group is also pursuing selective growth opportunities in emerging energy sectors, including a joint venture with <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Sound Energy plc<\/span><\/span> to explore natural hydrogen and helium in Morocco.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1749\" data-end=\"1913\">Chief executive <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Chris Jepps<\/span><\/span> said the business was benefiting from renewed demand for exploration solutions amid global energy uncertainty.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1915\" data-end=\"2159\">He said: \u201cWith a rebalanced cost structure and improving revenue profile, Getech is in a much stronger financial position. In 2026, we expect this to be reflected in our trading performance through increased revenues and an increase in EBITDA.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2161\" data-end=\"2397\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Looking ahead, the group said trading momentum has continued into 2026, with first-quarter revenues up 5% year-on-year and EBITDA expected to exceed 2025 levels, as it focuses
