Leeds-based health technology business Radar Healthcare has strengthened its patient engagement offering with the acquisition of patient experience and outcomes specialist Cemplicity.<\/p>\n
The deal brings together two complementary healthcare technology providers, extending Radar Healthcare’s platform beyond quality, risk and compliance management into patient-reported experience and outcomes.<\/p>\n
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.<\/p>\n
The acquisition follows Radar Healthcare’s recent purchase of EIDO Healthcare, the digital consent and patient information provider, as the business continues to broaden its technology platform for healthcare organisations.<\/p>\n
Cemplicity provides software that captures patient-reported experience measures (PREMs) and patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs), alongside real-time patient feedback, shared decision-making insights, surgical site surveillance and service recovery tools.<\/p>\n
Radar Healthcare said combining the two businesses will enable healthcare providers to link patient feedback and outcomes directly with governance, risk and quality improvement processes, helping organisations identify issues earlier and improve patient care.<\/p>\n
The business, which is backed by Marlin Equity Partners, said the acquisition forms part of its strategy to invest in its platform and expand its capabilities across healthcare quality, safety and patient engagement.<\/p>\n
