{"id":2159258,"date":"2026-08-25T14:53:18","date_gmt":"2026-08-25T13:53:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/yorkshire\/?p=2159258"},"modified":"2026-08-25T14:53:18","modified_gmt":"2026-08-25T13:53:18","slug":"housing-provider-secures-250m-strategic-partnership-with-homes-england","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/yorkshire\/news\/2159258-housing-provider-secures-250m-strategic-partnership-with-homes-england","title":{"rendered":"Housing provider secures \u00a3250m strategic partnership with Homes England"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Castleford-based social housing provider, Vico Homes, has been confirmed as a Homes England Strategic Partner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This means it has secured \u00a3250m worth of grant funding from the Social and Affordable Homes Programme 2026-2036 to support delivery of thousands of new affordable homes over the next 10 years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Vico Homes is one of 33 housing providers nationally to be awarded Strategic Partner status. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It said this reflects Homes England&#8217;s confidence in its ability to deliver high-quality affordable housing at scale and support long-term housing, regeneration and growth ambitions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Homes England is the government&#8217;s national housing and regeneration agency, with a mission is to fund, support and accelerate construction of affordable homes across England.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sue Young, executive director of homes and growth at Vico Homes, said: \u201cBecoming a Homes England Strategic Partner is a landmark moment for us and a real vote of confidence in our people and our ambitious plans to deliver 10,000 more affordable homes over the next 10 years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThis funding will help us deliver thousands of much-needed affordable homes faster, creating stronger communities and giving more people a high-quality place to call home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWe\u2019re incredibly proud to be trusted to deliver at this scale.
