Cost of living boost, as Yorkshire-based tech firm gives away services for free for three months.

A GROWING tech firm is giving away its services for three months – in a bid to help companies struggling with the cost of living crisis.

Dash Tabor, the co-founder of TUBR, says the current economic turmoil couldn’t have come at a worse time, as businesses look to rebuild after overcoming the turmoil of Covid-19.

Her business offers clients access to a machine learning platform which gives them the power to make informed actions and predictions from complete and incomplete data sets.

Unlike other prediction engines TUBR uses a physic-based methodology to anticipate consistently changing trends. It helps them to make more accurate predictions which in turn allow businesses to effectively manage their assets while reducing costs and improving customer experience.

Dash said: “Soaring costs aren’t just impacting those paying the bills for home. Companies are feeling the pinch on the budgets as well. Petrol prices impact the bottom lines of delivery and fleet management companies. Fast commerce is seeing the impacts of cuts to already low margins and restaurants are trying to effectively manage demand and customer satisfaction in an attempt to recover from a hard few years.

Explaining why accurate data can be a key driver for efficiency, she continued: “All of these companies need to be able to compete with the changing market by becoming more efficient and cost effective. Predictive technologies, like machine learning and A.I, give these companies a little insight into the likely occurrences of the needs of their customers, employees and businesses. However, many companies don’t have enough data to use traditional technologies. TUBR’s mission is to remove the barriers, be that difficult or small data, lack of data science resources or time, that keep companies from using predictive technologies.”

Revealing why she’s decided to give away TUBR’s services for free via a competition she added: “We want to help a company who might not be able to afford these kinds of services at the moment to secure access to a tool which can really help boost their business.”
