The A52 in Nottinghamshire is closed westbound between the A606 (near Edwalton) and the A60 (near Ruddington) due to a serious incident.
Nottinghamshire Police, Emergency Services and Air Ambulance are currently on scene.
Highways England says that road users may wish to consider alternative routes and are advised to allow extra time for their journey.
