New role for Leicester inward investment chief

Leicester City Council’s inward investment and place marketing director Helen Donnellan is to leave her role.

Donnellan is set to join De Montfort University, tasked with building relationships with the local business community.

In a post on LinkedIn, Donnellan said: “After four years at Leicester City Council I am taking up a new post with De Montfort University as director of business engagement. As you all know, I love working in Leicester, alongside the fantastic and supportive business and stakeholder community we have here, so it’s a privilege to be taking on this new role and to remain as part of the community.

“It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you whilst I’ve been with the City Council and I very much hope to continue building these relationships, and starting new ones in this new role.”
