Leicester sealings firm sold to international counterpart

Leicester supplier of sealing products EDCO has been bought by international firm Diploma, that owns the M Seals UK brand.

EDCO will continue to trade in Leicester under the M Seals name.

M Seals UK employs 35 staff over the three UK sites in Leicester, Newcastle and Knutsford as well as over 80 in Europe.

Andy Percival, operations manager at M Seals UK said: “As EDCO, we’ve built a great reputation for supplying the UK high quality sealing product. Our acquisition by Diploma PLC will enable us to be the main M Seals distribution centre in the UK and increase our capabilities to become even more competitive.”
