On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Derbyshire marketing agency Purpose Media has added to its client account management team.

Georgina Staley joins the South Normanton-based firm as an account manager.

The Derby native had previously worked as a marketing and administrative assistant at inward investment organisation Marketing Derby.

Staley said: “I’m delighted to be joining the team at Purpose Media, which has established a strong reputation as one of the leading marketing agencies in the Midlands.

“I’ve helped to support many businesses big and small during my time at Marketing Derby and look forward to bringing these skills to Purpose Media to helps our clients achieve more from their marketing.”

Purpose Media has also promoted Seb Wilson to the role of project manager. He joined the company as a customer support apprentice in 2016 and was support desk manager prior to his promotion.

Account director Jamie Bourn said: “We’re pleased to be bolstering our account management team by promoting Seb and welcoming Georgina on board. Extending the team strengthens our commitment to our clients to ensure they get maximum return on their investment in Purpose Media’s full range of creative marketing services.”

Harry Marshall

An apprentice with commercial refrigeration and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) specialist PCPM has landed a full-time job with the firm after successfully completing his apprenticeship.

Harry Marshall, 19, joined the Chesterfield-based firm in 2017 and has just completed his City and Guilds Level 3 in ICT Systems and Principles, achieving two Distinctions and a Merit.

He has now been offered a full-time role with the company as a CAD operator and estimator.

Founder and managing director Peter Crown said: “We’re proud of the success that Harry has achieved as our first ever apprentice and are pleased to be able to help his career with us progress as he takes on his new role.

“Harry has worked really hard to achieve this qualification and has quickly become a key part of the tight-knit team we have built here at PCPM. His new role will enable us to offer a more rounded CAD and estimates solution to our clients.”

Marshall added: “I’m delighted to be taking the next step on my career journey with PCPM after completing my apprenticeship and look forward to the new challenges it brings.”
