A Nottingham digital agency says it is set to break through the 50-staff barrier for the first time after landing a string of high-profile accounts.

Impression, based at Fothergill House on King Street in the city centre, says it has begun new partnerships with more than 20 national and international clients since the start the year, including the likes of Cancer Research UK, Brewdog and Giant Bicycles.

Aaron Dicks, co-founder and managing director at Impression, said: “The last year has been instrumental for the long term success of Impression and the digital marketing space in Nottingham as a whole. To be able to say we are working with some of the UK’s most established brands is a real privilege and shows what can be achieved outside of London.”

He added: “Nottingham has become a real hub of digital marketing in recent years and we are keen to maintain that momentum in the coming years. A big part of this is ensuring that we encourage the best graduates to remain in the city after finishing university and making them aware of the opportunities available to work with some of the UK’s biggest brands. You don’t need to necessarily be in larger hubs such as London to access these.”

The firm says it will hire 10 more staff in 2019, including an account manager, marketing manager, PPC and PR specialists, as well as its upcoming cohort of recruits to its graduate training programme.
