Fast-growing recruiter ahead of target for £6m turnover

Start People, the automotive, engineering and fast moving consumer goods specialist recruiter, has revealed plans for accelerated growth as it moves into its third year.

Following an increase of more than 250% in both turnover and profits the business has ambitious plans for expansion in both its Manchester office and its Durham and Birmingham locations during 2017.

Over the first two years of trading the business has already grown to 23 staff.  Rapid growth in sales and a move to new larger offices in Manchester during 2016 has given the business the opportunity to add a further 10 staff in this location alone during the course of the coming year.

This investment is mirrored in both the Durham and Birmingham offices which opened in 2016.  The business is already significantly ahead of its £6m turnover target for the year.
Whilst expansion of the teams in the established divisions is the priority to cope with the increased demand from clients, development of our portfolio is also on the agenda.
