Business hub almost fully let
The Derwent Group has announced that Walkden Business Hub, a new commercial office and retail space for SMEs in the Salford area, is almost fully let following its launch only eight months ago.
Only two units now remain of the original 10 new units which range in size from 369sq ft to 1,500sq ft and totalling 6,965sq ft of newly refurbished commercial space.
The space has been let to several local businesses ranging from retail to professional services, including The Party Company, Walkden Tax Office, Core Alloys UK, Accessories for the Home, and Joyo Audio. Announcement of further new tenants to the Hub is expected in the coming weeks.
The new commercial space is accompanied by meeting room facilities, more than 2,000 on-site car parking spaces, 24 hour security, high-speed wi-fi, and access to local amenities including the wide range of high quality retail and leisure offerings on-site.

Walkden Business Hub is about eight miles north west of Manchester city centre, and is prominently positioned on the junction of Bolton Road (A575) and the A6, a principal arterial route in and out of Manchester city centre.
The centre provides 450,00 sq ft of retail space and boasts a footfall of 150,000 per week. Current tenants include Tesco, Boots, B&M, JD Sports, Aldi, Pizza Hut, Subway, and Costa Coffee.
