Retailer upsizes its space at prime Liverpool shopping complex

Pull&Bear's 'Stranger Things' clothing line

Grosvenor Europe has announced that Pull&Bear, Inditex’s urban fashion brand, is to upsize in Liverpool One.

The larger store will also be the only location in the UK and Ireland to be designed with the brand’s new ‘18,1’ concept.

Situated on Upper South John Street, the new 10,118 sq ft unit is more than 3,000 sq ft larger than its current store and will offer the brand’s entire collection of both menswear and womenswear alongside a dedicated section for shoes and accessories.

The 18,1 concept store will be produced by an in-house team and features an interactive catwalk as an alternative to a window display, creating an immersive experience for visitors.

Alison Clegg, director, asset management, Grosvenor Europe, said: “Liverpool One is known for its cachè of popular international brands and focus on fashion, and we are thrilled to secure Pull&Bear’s first 18,1 concept store in the UK. Inditex is the latest in a long list of leading brands to select Liverpool One for flagship stores.”

Established in 1991 and inspired by the legendary Californian city of Palm Springs, the Inditex brand has a global reach of 970 stores.

Pull&Bear continues its international mission, targeting young people looking to combine their fashion interests with the environment around them.

The Pull&Bear upsize news follows the recent signing of boutique jewellery brand Rox, which is due to open on Peter’s Lane this Summer.

Cushman & Wakefield and Metis Real Estate Advisors acted for Liverpool One and Inditex represented for themselves in the deal.
