Which? boost for Co-operative Electrical

THE Co-operative’s Electrical business has been rated the joint-second best online retailer for electrical products by consumer group Which?

The Manchester-based retailer scored 90% for electricals in a customer satisfaction poll of over 10,000 Which? Members, narrowly missing out on the number one spot for electrical retailers by just 1% to a small firm based in Norwich, to WexPhotographic.com.

The survey asked customers to rate services such as product availability, pricing, website usability and delivery service, and the Co-op scored 19 stars out of a possible 20.

James Holland, managing director at The Co-operative Electrical, said: “Consumers buy online for ease and convenience and the delivery service people experience should be just as smooth.

“The Co-operative, offers a free, time-specific delivery slot and courier service on all electrical items purchased online and we fully back the Which? campaign to put the brakes on dodgy home delivery services.”

Earlier this month Co-operative Electrical became the first online electrical retailer to sell all extended warranties on electrical products at cost.
