Revenue rains in for Moneysupermarket.com

NORTH Wales-based Moneysupermaket.com has reported an impressive increase in revenue of 10% to £248.1m across all its services for 2014.

Insurance and money turnover was up 8% and 13% respectively while TravelSupermarket.com intake rose by 28%, benefiting from the ongoing investment in technology.

MoneySavingExpert.com revenues were up 17%, including further success of the Cheap Energy Club.

There was a capital investment of £16.1m in technology, part of the company’s three-year investment programme.
Chief executive Peter Plumb said: “Our three well-trusted brands helped more than 40 million users make the most of their money in 2014.
 
“We invested more than £16m in our websites and systems and will do the same in 2015 to ensure we lead the market as the easiest and best way for families to save money on their household bills. Following 10% revenue growth in 2014, the group has started the year well and is on track to save more families more money than ever before.”
