Firm’s first overseas office is in Singapore

MANCHESTER-based research company Join the Dots has  announced the opening of its first international office, signalling its intention to develop and grow its international portfolio of clients.

Join the Dots grew by 28% in 2015 and the new office in Singapore will allow the company to service their existing clients who have operations in the Far East, including Glaxo Smith Kline, Unilever and Diageo. It will also allow them to pursue new opportunities across Asia.

The new office will be run by managing director by Karen Schofield and who was previously the company’s innovations director.

With a staff of 117 across its UK and new Far East operations and turnover set to reach £10m in 2016, Join the Dots delivers consumer insight to its multi-national clients through a combination of rigorous primary research and the latest thinking in psychology, behavioural economics and consumer trends.

Founder and director Pete Comley said: “With a number of clients already in the Far East, the next logical step was to open our own office there.

“We have ambitious plans for growth and, apart from allowing us to develop closer relationships with our clients’ businesses out there; the office provides the perfect base from which to expand our interests across Asia.”

The company was founded by Comley in 1998 and since then has grown to be one of the most respected market research agencies. In 2015 the Market Research Society named them as the sixth fastest growing market research company in the UK.
