Plan for £160m mixed-use development

A £160m mixed-use development is planned for Alderley Park in Cheshire.

The scheme, including a 410,000 sq ft laboratory, offices and light manufacturing, 16,000 sq ft of retail, restaurant, a pub, 275 homes and a 100-bed hotel goes before Cheshire East Council’s strategic planning board next Wednesday (February 24).

Up 60 of the houses could be for retirement or care use. There would also be an indoor sports centre measuring some 25,000sq ft.
