It’s official – legal eagle is one of world’s best

HIGH-flying legal partner Rob Elvin has been named as one of the top five global “Star Lawyers” by legal industry research firm Acritas.

Elvin, Manchester office partner for Squire Patton Boggs, features in a new report based on the views of nearly 4,000 general counsel and other senior leaders in legal departments around the world.

The Acritas Stars Database and Report are the results of an 18-month long survey which involved asking participants to name any exemplary outside counsel with whom they had worked, and to describe the particular characteristics that qualified these individuals to be outstanding or “Star Lawyers”.
 
Most  of the lawyers in the “Stars” database were named by one individual, but Elvin received four nominations, with client feedback ranging from: “He gives good, practical advice and is really cost-effective because he is so efficient” to “I trust his judgement absolutely and his instincts and his knowledge of his subject area”.

In March last year, Elvin took the prestigious title of Partner of the Year at the annual Manchester Legal Awards.
