Recruitment firm moves Birmingham office into hub 70 miles away

A recruitment firm is moving out of Birmingham and will service the West Midlands from a hub in Milton Keynes.

Swanstaff Recruitment opened in the city two years ago as part of a wider expansion that also saw the firm open branches in Nottingham, Cambridge, Bristol and Norwich.

The firm, which was established in 1997, will also close its Nottingham office and cover the East and West Midlands from its Milton Keynes base.

A spokesperson for Swanstaff told TheBusinessDesk.com: “By amalgamating our Nottingham and Birmingham branches into this recruitment hub we will be able to deliver a better value and higher standard of service to both our clients and candidates. This development follows a great year for Swanstaff who have experienced an increase of 12% in gross profit and 4000% growth in net profit.

“The company also launched their brand new employee share scheme this month, with 25% of the business being gifted to employees over the next five years.”

Last month Swanstaff Recruitment was named as one of London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain for the second year running.
