Redditch manufacturer to hire more staff after securing funding

SPECIALIST manufacturing business TP3 Global plans to buy new machinery and hire extra staff after securing a finance package.

Central Finance, with offices in Birmingham and Worcester, achieved a six figure ERDF grant package for the Redditch-based firm to fund its ambitious growth plans.

The financial consultancy sourced the grant package for TP3 Global in order to help drive its expansion of its premises, and invest in new machinery to develop its intelligent, protective packaging.

The packaging – including Silverskin Thermal Pallet covers – maintains an ambient temperature which makes it ideal for the pharmaceutical and food sectors.

The grant will also fund the creation of 14 new jobs so the firm can expand its customer base and increase exports.

Clive Wheeldon, CEO and chairman at TP3 Global said: “To continue to innovate and keep ahead of the demanding legislative changes in the pharmaceutical sector, Peter and I decided we needed to invest in new technology and expand our infrastructure.

Alison Bradley, managing director of Central Finance, said: “I’m very pleased we achieved this significant grant funding for TP3 Global.

“Grant funding, like all business financing options can be complex and time consuming for business owners and understanding the process, terminology and ultimately the criteria can be a mine field.”
