High profile orders lead to big sales growth for corporate uniform supplier

COLESHILL-based corporate clothing supplier Incorporatewear is celebrating after seeing sales rise from £14m to £25m over the past three years.

The company now supplies more than 300,000 corporate uniforms to a wide cross-section of businesses.

The firm has attributed the success to a series of client and contract wins. This has resulted in a growth in its workforce and the opening of a new warehouse in Birmingham, close to the company’s headquarters in Hams Hall.

One of the firm’s major wins was a contract to supply retail giant Marks & Spencer, a deal which involved the firm having to clothe more than 100,000 employees – 65,000 of them in the UK alone.

Not surprisingly, the deal is the largest single piece of business in Incorporatewear’s history. The deal meant a 25% increase in the company’s turnover.

However, the firm has also been successful in attracting business from other sectors.

Virgin Atlantic, another high-profile client, has agreed a contract extension, which will see the firm continue to supply the airline with the iconic Vivienne Westwood-designed red cabin crew uniforms.

Incorporatewear is now supplying 160,000 garments to more than 7,500 pilots, cabin crew and ground agents across the world.

Such an increase in business needed additional capacity, hence the firm’s decision to open the new warehouse in Birmingham. The new facility, which stands three storeys high and has a 25,000 sq ft footprint, has quadrupled capacity.

Specially located to capitalise on the region’s place at the heart of the UK’s motorway network, the new warehouse features state of the art selection technology. This will translate into new efficiencies for the company.

Steve Ciuffini, General Manager at Incorporatewear, said: “It is great to be in a positon to announce such positive growth.

“Our new warehousing facility allows us to feel confident in our ability to ensure high quality service is continuously delivered to all our new and existing clients.

“Incorporatewear was founded to be the most forward thinking, innovative and supremely flexible corporate wear and corporate uniform supplier, and as we have continued to grow we have shown that our DNA remains the same.”
