Accountancy firm appoints fit-out specialists for new offices

Accountants and business advisor PKF Cooper Parry has appointed Paragon Interiors Group to design and fit-out its new West Midlands office.

PKF is relocating from Edgbaston to a new base at One Central Boulevard on Blythe Valley Business Park, Solihull, in order to support further growth.

The Midlands accountancy firm announced last month that it would be relocating in April from 8 Calthorpe Road to the new 17,810 sq ft office at IM Properties’ Blythe Valley.

Paragon won the contract having previously designed and fitted out PKF Cooper Parry’s 26,000 sq ft Sky View office at East Midlands Airport in 2014.

The bold design featured a dream room, tree-house meeting room, complete with swing, idea pods and two games areas featuring a pool table, space invaders and table tennis table.

PKF Cooper Parry’s new West Midlands office will include similarly ground-breaking design features including a wellbeing tent, swings, flexible agile working spaces, and a sports bar (see below).

Ade Cheatham, chief executive of PKF Cooper Parry, said: “One Central Boulevard will provide us with modern, high-specification, grade A office facilities, designed to be flexible, to encourage creativity and collaborative working.

“Once again we have chosen to work with Paragon to create another leading edge design, with lots of quirky and fun features thrown in – from Narnia cupboards to Segways, not to mention a running track – to ‘wow’ our staff and clients alike.”

The firm’s growth plan aims at doubling its market share in the West Midlands over the next two years.

Lee Harris, Executive Commercial Director for Paragon, said: “PKF Cooper Parry have a refreshing vision and values which align with how their offices operate. Their environment provides the platform for their culture to grows and they have some incredible talent to nurture.”
