Hat trick of tenants sign up to 1175 Thorpe Park

Three new tenants have signed up to 1175 Thorpe Park, following a £1.2m refurbishment programme.

Linden Homes is relocating from Wetherby into 1175 Thorpe Park, which is owned by CEG, taking a five year lease of a 5,000 sq ft suite on the ground floor of the two-storey office building, joining the likes of MITIE at the location.

Scott Stothard, managing director of Linden Homes, said: “Thorpe Park is in a prime location situated directly off Junction 46 of the M1 and provides easy access to Leeds City Centre. The surrounding business park is starting to establish itself as a premier business location and it is great to be part of it.

“All the staff are enjoying working in a great office space – modern, open plan working with light and airy offices.  It is a great working environment with excellent facilities/amenities and the staff have really embraced the move and enjoying Thorpe Park life.”

A further 1,991 sq ft office suit has been let to Fuerst Day Lawson, a leading global supplier of specialist ingredients to the food, beverage and fragrance industries. Northern Gas and Power is also taking a 2,670 sq ft office.

Only 5,414 sq ft remains available either as one office or with potential for that to be sub divided into two smaller suites.

Robert Morton, investment manager at CEG, said: “We have successfully attracted three well-known companies Thorpe Park. The combination of the recent refurbishment providing high quality facilities, as well as the accessible location and the new leisure and retail offer at Thorpe Park continues to appeal to blue chip companies. We have a lot of interest in the remaining suite and we are considering the potential to divide that into two offices to meet the high demand from small to medium sized businesses.”

The multi million pound refurbishment of 1175 Thorpe Park has delivered new communal areas with seating, cycling facilities, showers and a ‘grab and go’ coffee amenity.
