Rural location chosen for residential scheme of nearly 100 houses

A site near Scarborough will accommodate 96 new houses once building work is complete.

Tara Fields, on the eastern edge of East Ayton, is being developed by Linden Homes West Yorkshire and will comprise a range of three, four and five-bedroom homes. A temporary sales and marketing suite is now open on site.

The first of the new homes are due for completion in January 2020.

A spokesman for Linden Homes said: “They will include styles to appeal to everyone from first time buyers, professional couples, families or those who are looking to downsize or move to a more rural location.

“The location on the edge of the North Riding Forest Park boasts a host of educational, recreational and day-to-day amenities and facilities, while enjoying easy access to Scarborough and the A170 – ideal for commuting.”

Prices for the Tara Fields development have not yet been released.
