Midori contract win for Turn Key

MARKETING agency Turn Key is to develop drinks brand Midori across Europe for distillers Morrison Bowmore.

Turn Key’s appointment follows campaigns for other drinks brands including Luxardo Sambuca with Midori distributor Cellar Trends which led to the invitation to work with Morrison Bowmore.

Catherine Rigby, Midori’s European brand manager, said: “Midori is a sleeping giant – a fantastic brand. The world’s first choice melon liqueur and a bar essential, it was launched to great acclaim in 1978 but many consumers are still unaware of Midori’s fantastic heritage, something we hope to restore with an exciting new creative campaign in 2011.

“We were very impressed with Turn Key’s creativity and understanding of our brand and we’re excited to work with the team at Turn Key to develop a creative campaign based on intelligent strategic insight.”
