Kitchen retailer collapses amid creditor demands

ADMINISTRATORS have been called in to a kitchen and granite retailer in South Yorkshire after the business succumbed to growing pressure from a number of creditors.

The owner of 24-Seven Kitchen & Granite Solutions made the decision to place the company in administration after experiencing cash flow problems amid increasing demands from a number of creditors.

The business, which had a showroom on Doncaster Road in Kirk Sandall, Doncaster, was established in 2003 and provided bespoke kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms along with granite worktops and surfaces.

It claimed to have more than 40 years of combined experience in the sector, but has now ceased trading after more than 10 years in business.

Chris White and Gareth Rusling of The P&A Partnership were appointed joint administrators on April 7 and the director and two employees have been made redundant.

No customers will be left out of pocket by the closure of the business and all goods that have been paid for have been supplied, the administrators said.

Mr White said: “24-Seven Kitchen & Granite Solutions has enjoyed more than a decade of success but has recently experienced cash flow problems and has been forced to cease trading.

“The owners made the difficult decision to put the business into administration because they were facing increasing pressure from creditors.

“It’s a sad end to a popular Doncaster business, but we are pleased to say that, as far as we aware, no customers will lose out as a result.”
