Packaging company all wrapped up with US deal
A MANUFACTURER of plastic packaging has been acquired by US moulding firm MOCAP.
William Beckett, based in Sheffield, is a manufacturer of plastic packaging for the cutting tool industry. It is located on the Tinsley Industrial Estate. It also provides technical moulding services.
The company was founded 40 years ago and in 1994 established a distribution facility in Chicago, now selling to 40 countries worldwide.
DLA Piper advised William Beckett Plastics on its acquisition by MOCAP.
MOCAP began manufacturing dip moulded vinyl caps, grips and plugs in 1982 at its first factory located in St. Louis, Missouri USA.
The Sheffield-based DLA Piper team comprised legal director Anna Lewis and associate Chloe Roberts.
