Work starts on £30m industrial development

Work has started on a £30m industrial development in Shireoaks, Worksop, to build two new units totalling 550,000 sq ft across 28.9 acres.

McLaren Construction is leading the project, on behalf of a joint venture between Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH and Invesco Real Estate, with a 45-week timeline for completion.

The scheme will include the design and construction of two industrial units, a private access road, and S38 works to create the main access route into the site and an adjacent plot.

Initial works include soft landscaping, turfing, and planting, with further plans for green cladding in varying shades, ribbon windows, and glazing.
