Health consultants open doors to first office in Nottingham

Gain Capacity Experts, a company providing mental capacity assessments, has opened its first physical office in Bramcote, Nottingham.

Founded in 2019 by Victoria Sample after a two-decade career in the NHS, the company was established to help improve support for people with reduced mental capacity.

Originally launched alongside her NHS work, Sample began running the business full-time in 2021.

The service, which now has a team of 11 professionals, including an occupational therapist, psychiatrist, social worker and dementia specialist, works across England and Wales, offering both in-person and virtual assessments for individuals and families, often in partnership with solicitors.

Based at The Grove on Peache Way, the new office is intended to serve as a base for staff collaboration, meetings and assessments.

Sample said: “This is a proud moment for us. Opening our first office is about more than just having a physical space; it’s about creating a hub for our growing team and a base for delivering the highest quality service to our clients. We’ve grown steadily, but always with a focus on maintaining the highest standards, ensuring compliance, and providing reassurance to those we work with.”

Looking ahead, the company plans to offer new services, including mental health assessments for ADHD and autism.
