Property agency Wells McFarlane has relocated to larger premises in its home town of Lutterworth, Leicestershire.

The firm has moved into a 3,165 sq ft office in the Grade II listed Devonshire House.

“Moving to the iconic Devonshire House, one of the oldest buildings in Lutterworth, will enable us to continue the expansion of the business,” said director, Andrew McFarlane Holt.

“Last year, we achieved unprecedented success, not only winning a major international award but also recording our best financial year to date. Our new premises gives us a significant platform to move forward; we have already commenced recruitment for two new chartered surveyors and one estate agent with a view to filling these vacancies by the summer.”

New to the team since relocation is practice manager, Amanda Lambert. With over 25 years’ managerial experience in the financial and education sectors, Lambert will oversee the day-to-day running of the office, HR and recruitment as well as assisting the directors with company planning.

Trevor Wells, director added: “We’re keen to build on the momentum of the past year and appoint experienced professionals like Amanda to become integral members of the team as the business develops. We’re making a significant investment in our personnel and our digital marketing strategy and are looking forward to the opportunities that 2017 will bring.”
