Traffic alert: M69 in Leicestershire reopens after overnight crash

The M69 has reopened this morning between the M1 and Junction 1 following what Highways England are calling “a serious incident”, despite the Agency warning of road closures through the rush hour.

Leicestershire Police, emergency services and Highways England Traffic Officers have been at the scene. Highways England said it expected traffic flow to return to normal between 5.30am and 5.45am this morning (February 9)

Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journey this morning as some delays could still be experienced.
