Sarah Howells, who has been with the agency for nearly three years has been promoted to account director, meanwhile Emma Houghton steps up into a senior account manager role.

Liz Cartwright, managing director at Cartwright Communications, said: “We enjoyed a really strong year in 2016 and I am very pleased to further expand our team with a number of talented new starters across the business. Each individual brings with them valuable experience which will help to successfully drive results whether that is for a client or for the agency as a whole.

“Sarah and Emma’s promotions are a testament to their hard work and achievements during their time at Cartwright. We have started the year as we mean to go on – bigger and better.”

Nottinghamshire-based North Midland Construction (NM Group) has expanded its team further with the appointment of a new business development manager for its Building division.

Fay Paterson has joined the firm this month and in her new role will be helping to develop and expand the division.

Paterson has worked in the construction industry for 18 years, starting her career at Hall and Tawse (Mansell) as a marketing assistant, where she remained for eight years before becoming marketing manager at Macarthy Hughes International (MHI).

From there, she went on to become business development manager at Baggaley Construction and most recently Robert Woodhead.

“We are delighted to welcome Fay to our team as our new business development manager,” said Nick Banks, operations director of the building division of NM Group.

“This is another step forward for the business. We believe that Fay will be a great asset and will help the Building division grow and develop even further.”

Paterson said: “I’m extremely excited to begin in the role at North Midland Construction. They are a well-respected and successful company within the industry and I’m looking forward to helping them grow and expand.

“I have worked within the construction industry for nearly 20 years so I hope my background and experience will help me flourish as their new business development manager.”
