Derby brewery set to launch on Crowdcube

Derby Brewing Company

An East Midlands brewery is set to release 10% of its business to crowdfunding investors so that it can embark on an expansion plan.

Derby Brewing Company is launching the campaign on Crowdcube so that it can develop its pubs, open new one, develop a new craft beer range and launch the business worldwide.

Derby Brewing Company was set up in 2004 by our head brewer Trevor Harris who started his brewing career in 1991 when the brewery was built onto The Brunswick Inn in Derby, creating the first brew pub of the modern era.

The brewery now owns four pubs around the area: the Tap and the Greyhound in Derby; the Queen’s Head in Little Eaton; and the boutique hotel, bar and restaurant Kedleston Country House, Quarndon.

Trevor Harris said: ““It’s incredible to see the continued evolution of the business. We love the idea of the people of Derby and further afield becoming part of our exciting plans.”

Shareholder opportunities range from £100 to £25,000, with investors gaining access to a range of benefits depending on the level of investment, including regular samples of new beers, discounts, AGM invitations and parties.
