Logistics firm swoops for 110,000 sq ft Magna Park warehouse

Logistics firm CML has bought a new distribution warehouse at Magna Park in Lutterworth.

The 110,215 sq ft unit will be the firm’s third warehouse at Magna Park, increasing its total retail distribution space at the park by almost 30%.

CML says it is on course for business growth of 15% over the next financial year. The company appointed fifty new members of staff earlier this year.

Mark Webb, managing director at CML, said: “Following a significant surge in growth over the past 24 months, it is with great excitement that we are able to announce the acquisition of our third warehousing facility at Magna Park. CML is continuing to go from strength to strength and we are thrilled to have secured the investment to help support our growth and retail clients over the next few years”.

The new facility will house a picking structure and space for over 14,000 pallets on a secure 6.5 acre site. It features an eaves height of 12 metres, eight dock level doors, two ground level doors and a car park.
