On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

The Nottingham office of Roythornes Solicitors has appointed Natasha Bicknell and Laura Hill as solicitors following two years of training.

Bicknell will work with developers and landowners from the firm’s office in Park Row on planning and development issues.

Hill, who studied law at Nottingham Trent, is set to handle commercial disputes for businesses, including employment issues.

Newby Castleman chartered accountants has appointed a new audit and accounts manager.

Alex James

Alex James, who has over 20 years’ experience in accountancy, will be based at the firm’s Loughborough office.

Her new role will involve overseeing all audits for clients of the Loughborough office, reviewing the work of other staff, engaging with new clients and working with charities.

James said: “Newby Castleman is a long established firm and it holds itself to high standards of customer service – the personal touch is important the business, which is something that really appealed to me.

“I look forward to meeting and assisting clients, and helping them to overcome the challenges they face.”
