On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
Accountancy firm PKF Cooper Parry has added to its teams in the East and West Midlands with a number of senior appointments and promotions.
Peter Raybould and Simon Moult have joined the firm’s restructuring team as director and
business finance manager respectively, while Tom Summers has been appointed as a senior manager at Cooper Parry Corporate Finance.
Tom joins from RSM, where he worked for more than seven years, including three years in the corporate finance team.
Cooper Parry Corporate Finance has also promoted Ben Rookes from associate to partner, having joined the company as a graduate 15 years ago.
Paul Hayes, who joined PKF Cooper Parry’s IT Solutions team as a director in 2016, has made the step up to partner, with Steve Brooks made a director.
In total, 18 people have been promoted at the firm, across all disciplines.
Earlier this year, Jonathan Elsigood was made partner in Cooper Parry Wealth Management, and Sally Spencer was promoted to partner and chief operating officer.

Tracey Jackson and Pav Lalria
Else Solicitors, in Burton on Trent, has expanded its commercial team.
Pav Lalria has joined as a commercial property solicitor, and Tracey Jackson has joined as a debt recovery assistant.
Chris Else, managing partner said: “Both of these areas of our business have enjoyed significant growth. This is due to the rise in the number of commercial property transactions and the willingness of businesses to improve their cashflow by outsourcing their credit collection in order to get paid more quickly. Pav and Tracey are experienced practitioners and they will undoubtedly be an asset to our growing team.”
