Cottons Chartered Accountants has relocated its Northampton head offices to larger premises in the town.

The mobe comes after the firm landed a six figure funding deal from Royal Bank of Scotland to buy a prominent Victorian property on Billing Road.

Arranged over five floors, the 4,500sq ft property has been completely internally renovated by the accountancy firm since its acquisition.

Cottons is reporting strong, with turnover expanding by 30% over the last two yars. Five new members of staff are also set to join the Northampton team in July, increasing numbers across all offices to 75. In May Cottons launched a new office in London.

Nick Warne, managing partner of Cottons Chartered Accountants, said: “We are really pleased with the new offices. They have provided us with the necessary additional room to house our growing team and offer scope for future expansion too.

“This is a really exciting time for our company, we have experienced very positive growth during the last two years and are focussed on continuing to expand in the future. The launch of our practice in London marks a major step in the company’s history and we are really pleased with the success it has had in the short period of time it has been open.”

David Ingamells, relationship director, Royal Bank of Scotland, said: “I am pleased that we have been able to support Nick and the team at Cottons with funding for the new premises. The firm has experienced a fantastic rate of growth during the last couple of years and the new offices will provide plenty of space to accommodate the expanding team.”
