Leicestershire truck hire firm ready for growth

Truck hire company Alltruck has seen profits profits fall for the year-ending 28 February.

Profits before tax at the firm fell to £540,183 from £712,466, while turnover grew slightly to £19.2m.

In its latest annual accounts, Alltruck acknowledges that growth has slowed due to the “distraction” of relocating its head office, however the company says it is now in a position to accelerate growth.

During the year, Alltruck increased its number of staff from 97 to 104.

Alltruck moved to Croft, Leicestershire, in 2015, and also spent £800,000 on a new workshop, truck rental, bodybuilding and VOSA testing centre in Loughborough.
