Leicester print firm moves direct mail operations to 16,000 sq ft site

Printing company the Taylor Bloxham Group has relocated its direct mail operations to a separate dedicated site.
The move to a new 16,000 sq ft site in Leicester comes after the company recently announced an investment of over £1m in print finishing equipment.
The firm’s marketing communications subsidiary brand FastAnt Direct has also moved to a dedicated site in Leicestershire. The relocation is a result of the rise in demand for FastAnt Direct direct mail, fulfilment and e-commerce services. The marketing communications company previously shared a facility with Taylor Bloxham’s POS operation, Instore.
Taylor Bloxham says the new premises will enable it to double its direct mail and communication operations.
“With the company growing, we felt that the time was right to invest in new premises as well as new equipment to support increased production. We’re pleased to have found a site to exclusively house our direct mail operations,” said Robert Lockwood, chief executive of the Taylor Bloxham Group.
He added: “Our direct mail business has grown significantly over the past two years thanks to the cost effective, bespoke solutions that we offer.”
The additional space in the new site will be used as a dedicated working area for hand-fulfilled solutions, improving the handling of products throughout the operation.
“We have an experienced production team capable of working on both complex and fast turnaround projects. This facility will benefit many of our traditional print clients who will be able to have their whole project managed by one company to ensure a more efficient, joined up approach.”
