On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
Fisher German has welcomed farming and agricultural expert Richard Gadd.
He specialises in the sale and acquisition of farms and agricultural land and his clients have included farming families, national institutions, private investors and charities.
Gadd, who joins Fisher German from Savills, will work throughout the UK and is set to play a leading role for the rural sector of the business.
He said: “Fisher German has a first-class reputation in the rural marketplace. I am looking forward to building on the existing farm agency base and working with the local and national teams to move the business forwards.
“There are numerous economic and political factors influencing market sentiment at present which are providing interesting opportunities across the country for those looking to invest in land.”

George Fox-Smith
Insurance firm Russell Scanlan has made a new appointment to its private client division.
Joining the Nottingham team, based at Wellington Circus, as private client account handler is George Fox-Smith, who brings almost five years of insurance experience to the role.
Fox-Smith joins the team from Routen Chaplin Insurance Brokers.
He said: “I knew Russell Scanlan was a highly regarded broker in the East Midlands, with a solid customer base in private clients, so I was really keen to get on board and further develop my skills in the field.
“Private client work is always full of variety; no two clients are ever the same and the service they require must be tailored to their individual lifestyle, which is something I really enjoy.
