On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Ciaran Page

The Nottingham office of global translations provider EVS Translations has added to its specialist proofreading team with the appointment of Ciaran Page, a former legal linguist to the Court of Justice of the European Union.

Page joins the inhouse team of linguists based at the Nottingham office, part of a 16 strong group across the business, which also has offices in the USA, Bulgaria, Spain and three in Germany, where it was founded in 1991 by Edward R. Vick.

Vick said: “We are delighted to welcome Ciaran to the EVS Translations team. He has the kind of experience and breadth of knowledge that we and our clients demand and is a talented proofreader with an exceptional eye for detail as well as fantastic linguistic skills. His background in European Law is also vital with that market very buoyant for us. It is a service offering that we will be continuing to develop and grow and I look forward to Ciaran playing his part in that.”

Page added: “I am very proud to be joining a global business at the cutting edge of translations services and a team that has a reputation for excellence in the legal sector here at the Nottingham office. I cannot wait to get started and to bring my own experience to bear on our offering to innovative, forward-thinking law firms across the UK.”
