Developer reveals plans for mixed-used scheme at former police station

How the new scheme will look

ALB Investments has revealed the designs that will see the conversion of the former Carlton Police station into a mixed-use scheme – which will include its own new headquarters.

The company wants to build 66 apartments on the site of the Police station in the Nottigham suburb, as well as a 10,000 sq ft office space for its new head office.

Carlton Police Station closed in June 2017 after Nottinghamshire Police revealed it had to strip £12m from its budget.

The new building will be named Ernest House, after ALB owner Arran Bailey’s grandfather.

The project is due to be completed in 2019.
