Canadian bakery giant shelves Nottingham plans
Plans for a drive-thru restaurant near Trent Bridge in Nottingham have been shelved.
In March plans for a Tim Hortons Cafe and Bake Shop were lodged with Nottingham City Council on the site of a hand car wash on London Road. The application was withdrawn last week.
Tim Hortons was set up by Tim Horton, a National Hockey League legend in 1964 in Ontario, Canada. It entered the UK in 2017 and has 17 venues across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
It sells coffee, freshly-baked goods, sandwiches & wraps.
